Trail System 2025
In the fall of 2024, due to the issues with attaining quality insurance to cover the Highmarket trails, we suggested that all landowners sign the Lewis County Access Agreement. Having trail access is a priority, and we would like to see the continued use of the trails. For that reason, the landowners were contacted asking to sign the Lewis County Access Agreement so that the trails will be insured through Lewis County. Lewis County is self-insured and does not face the same insurance shortfalls that are affecting clubs.
Highmarket Wheelers will continue to work with all the landowners and Lewis County to keep the community connectors in our area. We feel this is the best option for the Highmarket Wheelers and the landowners. As a landowner with a Lewis County Access Agreement you will get yearly Trail Permits and in the terms and conditions of the Access Agreement, you may request any other needs you would like addressed for your trails. We would be happy to talk to you more about the Access Agreement and the future trail access in Lewis County.
By joining the club, you will receive a $20 discount towards the purchase of a Lewis County Trail Permit.
